From a Basement in Sundern to Kitchens Around the World

Doesn’t sound like a fairy tale? Then listen closely.
Our story doesn’t begin in a modern office complex, but with a simple idea: to make life at home easier for people. And with a man who believed in possibilities when others still had doubts. His name was Anton Severin. And what he founded in 1892 in a small town in Germany’s Sauerland region has become a brand that stands for more than just household appliances:
It stands for people with ideas, for an environment where initiative matters, and for a team that turns “Hello possibilities” into progress – every single day.

The First Step

Anton Severin founded his own craftsman's business. What began as a blacksmith's workshop quickly became more - a place where problems were solved.Where "making things possible" wasn’t just a phrase, but a way of thinking.

From Workshop to Vision

Together with his son Anton Jr., A. Severin & Co. GmbH was born. The business moved from repairs to production - first curtain rods, soon much more. New spaces for possibilities began to emerge.

Hello Factory

Demand kept growing, and the family home could no longer keep up. Severin moved into a brand-new facility in the "Röhre" industrial area in Sundern.

A step into modernity

Severin begins producing electric household appliances. The focus is on products that make everyday life easier, from coffee machines to toasters.

Growth and diversity

On its 75th anniversary, the product range includes more than 200 different electrical appliances. Severin establishes itself as a key player in the household sector.

Internationalization

Severin grows beyond borders. With the opening of a production facility in Shenzhen, China, and sales offices in several European countries, Severin becomes an international brand, representing reliability “Made in Germany” worldwide.

Logistics that connect

With the construction and opening of its own high-bay warehouse in Sundern, Severin lays the foundation for efficient logistics and even closer connections with retailers and customers.
