Toast muffins for breakfast

Whether for the lunch box, a delicious buffet for brunch or as a simple specialty for Sunday breakfast. These little "cakes" combine everything you need for a delicious breakfast in a single small muffin. Are you a vegetarian? No problem, just leave out the bacon and the delicious breakfast muffin is a pure morning treat for you too.

Toast muffins for breakfast

  • 6 slices of sandwich toast
  • 6 strips of bacon
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tomato
  • 6 tbsp grated cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

  1. Lightly grease the muffin tins.
  2. Press one slice of toast per muffin into the muffin tin and line with a slice of bacon. It is best to cut this in half and place the two halves crossed over the toast.
  3. Cut the tomato into 6 slices, place a slice on each muffin and sprinkle with about 1 tbsp of grated cheese.
  4. Crack 1 egg into each muffin, season with salt and pepper and bake at 180 °C until the egg sets.
